The Pieper Smiles Story
Our practice is the realized dream of Dr. Karlee Brownlee and her husband, Dr. Micah Asadi. Having met in dental school, they realized that they shared a vision of creating a family practice that counters the "corporate" feel found in a lot of modern practices.
Here, we’re not like a corporate chain office. We’re a local practice approaching every day as an opportunity to build a legacy for the next generation. We’ve intentionally named our practice after the local community to honor the history of the "Pieper Settlement" and truly ground ourselves in the neighborhood we serve.
Dr. Micah Asadi
As a native San Antonian, Dr. Asadi has undergone extensive additional training in IV sedation and advanced oral surgery techniques to ensure that even complex care can be handled comfortably right here in your hometown.
Dr. Karlee Brownlee
Dr. Brownlee is passionate about providing dentistry that is as educational as it is gentle. She believes that "an educated patient is a better patient" and focuses on explaining the "why" behind your care so you can feel confident in your health decisions.

Dr. A and Dr. Brownlee regularly volunteer their time to Mission of Mercy in both Texas and Oklahoma, offering free dental care to those in need.
